Accidentially, I was pointed to a real gem yesterday - 7.1.6 Label. This is a netlabel for experimental music that currently includes different styles e.g., Abstract Beat, Experimental Hip Hop, 21st-Century-Beat-Music, Glitch or IDM. One can not really much find out the mysterirous background of the label, only that it is based somewhere in the Russian Federation. The new music promotion, catalogization and consideration web site Far from Moscow wrote recently an article about 7.1.6 to bring some light into the darkness.
The different artists e.g., Bass + Space, DelMaind, Deep Play or LeOnid_US, often use quotations from famous persons to articulate some of their thoughts. They are really interested in centering the music and not where they come from and who they are. That's why, you can also find some of their artists on SoundCloud e.g., Bass + Space, DelMaind, LeOnid_US, Nesq and an own label site.

Let's continue in the mood of sounds in another dimension out of space and time, which some people might call Hippiekram. The first EP is from the Atlanta based crew Feast of Violet (Roman Photos and Allen Taylor) and was released on the netlabel Double Phantom Digital. The EP is called Botany Charm EP and is a nice journey into another beauty of sound.

The next EP is made by double entendre, which is project by Ryan Daniels. The release is also named after that project - double entendre and was released on The Electrick Gypsy Service. This pure ambient!

He did it again. Vlooper released a new album with the name AnaloG LovE. As always with little to no further information about it. Although, the vocals are again from his wife Gabrielle Modlee. It is a beautiful journey of very soulful and relaxed beats and Modlee's voice as icing on the cake.

San Francisco based Beat Scientist Mark Aubert made recently a guest mix for BTS radio show. However, he released also some Beattapes digitally, which where before only available as limited cassette releases. You can find them on his bandcamp site. I would say: this is a massive beat massaker. Boom Bap!

This is a beattape from circle vs. square a.k.a. Repeat Pattern that really blows my mind. Nearly all tracks are recommendable, especially "calculation error love", "drunk driver", "do the twist", "yay!" and "light bender". Also his other beattape is hot.
